Introduction
MS Alarm Monitoring System is one of the major module in BTEPS platform, working together with DAS Door Access Management System. It is
used to monitor all door point status, display card access transaction, user photo and capture photo, remote door control operation, setup door
operation schedule, OPC integration and display predefine alarm live video and pre-recorded video from VS (Video Server) in real time.
MS Alarm Monitoring System communication with CC Command Center through MSMQ message queue and receive card access transaction
and alarm status in real time. When system startup, MS will reload the latest door point and user information from database. Through DAS operator
access right setup, each door point monitoring and control right can be defined.
MS Alarm Monitoring System provide operator an intuitive visual display of door acces monitoring and control interface as well as good
overview of the overall system communication status of communication server and controller.
Real time monitoring of door, device and controller status
All door, device and controller status can be monitor via digital map in real time, status inculde: door always open/close state, door force
open, door left open, intrusion alarm, fire alarm, tamper alarm, battery low alarm, communication failure alarm. When alarm activated, alarm point
icon will be flashing with sound alert. Able to operate door or device remotely, remote control inculde: door release, always open, always close and
door auto. MS not only support remote monitoring and control of all door points but also support remote monitoring and control of all devices via
PLC programming. These devices can be fire exit door, barrier, auto gate, lighting or any electrical equipment. All devices can either be working
independently or integrated with door access.
MS provide digital map for flexible setup for monitoring and control
of different application requirement. Each monitoring area can be
presented by a digital map and the imported map format can be either
JPG, BMP or GIF. Able to display up to 16 digital maps at one time, using
mouse can expand, magnified up to 4 times or move a particular map.
Modification of door and device icon on the digital map include: icon
size, position, label font size and color. Icons position can either be
adjust using mouse or directly enter the x/y coordinate to fix the position.
All the status can be presented by different icons, alarm sound, color and
visibility. All digital map can be link up via map link setup.
Video Monitoring and Playback
MS able to display CCTV camera video located on digital map
configure by VS (Video Server). The pop up of live video, video archive
from DVR within a certain period caused by alarm are definable. All video
archive files are store in local computer for later query and playback.
Display Card Access Record, User Photo and Capture Photo in real time
MS able to display user card access record in real time. The display event record font color and background can be modified and the event type to
be displayed can be filtered individually. Photo display function can display the latest 6 user photo and detail information. When controller with built-in
video function is used, the real time capture photo can manually compare against the photo store in the database to increase the system security level.
All capture photo will be saved into the database for future query.
When MS startup, it will automatically upload the latest photo from the database to the local directory. The system will automatically query user
photo from the local directory to increase the display speed when card is presented.
OPC Integration and Remote Control Schedule
MS Alarm Monitoring System built-in with OPC integration function. Based on OPC protocol, MS able to receive alarm information from 3rd party
system and perform remote operation to a specific or all door within the area. Remote operation include: Door Release, Always Open, Always Close
and Auto Door Control. This function is specially useful for fire alarm integration and CCTV video recording back end integration.
MS Remote Control Schedule is able schedule a remote control operation task based certain day and time to a specific door, control operation
include: Open/Close Door, Arm/Disarm etc. All the schedule task status can be query whether it is pending, executed successfully or failure. Remote
Control Schedule is a complement to the existing auto door control and provide a flexible solution on auto door management
